You might remember Retro Press from the Neon Hen Do shoot I recently shared here on the blog. Kate and I had a very similar introduction to the world of weddings – starting with a close friends and slowly growing the business. I love hearing about people taking the leap and striking out on their own to do something they love. It never fails to inspire me!

“My main goal with Retro Press is to combine my love of design, things and inspirations to make you, ‘the bride to be’, get as excited to receive your wedding stationery as you are about putting on that perfect dress for the first time. Incidentally, I do believe that the stationery is in fact just as important as the dress, the cake, the flowers, the venue et al, because all these little things come together to make that one day, that B I G day. If you think about it, the Save The Date’s or the invitations are the first things that your wedding guests receive, thus they totally set the tone for the day. It is essential to get these right and ensure that they create the same wonderful vibes as the wedding itself.”

As well as some really lovely stationery suites to choose from Kate offers a bespoke service and will work with you to create a design that’s completely unique. I love that the ‘off the peg’ designs are all named after types of tea. The suite below is called Sencha – so fun and summery!

And if you’re looking something a little different why not take a peak at these fun Letterpress Coasters – have them around the venue on the wedding itself or send them out to your nearest and dearest in place of a traditional Save the Date card.

Definitely keep an eye on what Kate is up to and consider Retro Press for your big day!
